Positions are open and will be filled by qualified candidates upon completion of drug and background check. Prefer full time employees but will consider quality sub contractors.
Pay
Qualified Full Time Employment Candidates will receive Hourly w/ Overtime pay commensurate with their experience. Compensation includes vacation, health, dental and life insurance benefits.
Qualifications
Linemen should have 1 plus year experience placing fiber and coax for new build and replacement projects. Class A CDL a plus but not required. Some limited travel may be required within the state of Louisiana. Splicers should be able to work independently, read and comprehend system maps provide detailed documentation of work performed.
Other Requirements
Linemen and splicers must have the ability to read maps, properly document and red line completed work and manage material inventories and supplies. Climbers are compensated for this skill set but it is not required.
Job Description
Responsibilities include:
Surveying, assessing and comprehension of work orders and maps
Safe driving and operation of utility bucket truck
Ensuring proper working order of all equipment (trucks, lifts, equipement)
Adhering to safety measures
Providing and maintaining accurate work documentation
