DOE. Need general hand tools and splicing tools for .500 .625 .750 .875 Cables. We will supply a bucket truck
Qualifications
Must be well versed in troubleshooting, balancing forward and return, retro splicing, power supplies, Node set up, etc.. Possess the ability and willingness to follow direction, work independently or in a team & communicate professionally with co-workers , homeowners, and customers. Willing to travel. Must have knowledge of HFC plant operations.
Other Requirements
Must have a valid driver’s license and pass a background check and drug test
Job Description
Splice overhead and underground coaxial cables.
Climb utility poles and utilize truck-mounted lift buckets.
Cut and prepare coaxial cable prior to splicing and prepare electronics.
Install, remove and maintain cable system components.
Set up and balance electronics to customer specifications.
Perform operational checks and preventive maintenance inspection requirements, and verify end-of-line readings (EOL).
Troubleshoot problem areas.
Complete daily production forms and other company-required forms on a timely basis.
Perform inventory control on company vehicles.
Perform other duties as directed by Supervisor.
