Qualifications

Telecommunications Company seeks a full time CATV Field Supervisor to work in the Sterling Heights, MI area. Prior experience, a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent required and be authorized to work in the U.S. EOE.


Responsible for overseeing all day to day activities of the field personnel & assist Regional Project Manager with duties to which he/she is assigned. Specific duties include:

• Responsible for workforce compliance with all safety regulations including all OSHA requirements.
• Interact with contractors and field personnel regarding work completion, and resolve conflicts when necessary.
• Filing complete and accurate accident reports (Workers Compensation, Auto and General Liability), including claim resolution with home owners.
• Review work and confirm its completion according to customer specifications.
• Responsible for vehicle maintenance and inventory control of all on-site equipment and tools.
• Review and authorize daily work reports.
• At times, may be required to perform work along with field personnel.

The Field Supervisor shall not have the authority to enter into any contract on behalf of the company.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Thorough knowledge of all aspects of CATV construction
• Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Highly organized
• Ability to occasionally lift 100 lbs.
• Must have earned high-school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of cable construction experience
• Occasional overnight travel required
• Must have valid drivers license
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
