Telecommunication Fiber Project Coordinator:
Communications Constructions Group, LLC – Massachusetts
Telecommunications Company seeks a full time CATV Fiber Project Coordinator to work in the Boston Massachusetts area. We offer competitive pay, great benefits, paid time off, health benefits, retirement plan & opportunities for advancement. Only local candidates will be considered. Prior experience, a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent required and be authorized to work in the U.S. EOE.
Duties Include :
Complete initial construction cost estimates using multiple computer programs
Complete detailed construction field site surveys and generate final cost estimate & statement of work
Assign sold jobs to construction contractor who is best equipped to complete scope of work
Assure all assigned jobs are completed by firm due dates
Respond to all projects inquires via e-mail & cell phone in a timely and accurate manner.
Maintain clean and organized vehicle
Other responsibilities as directed by Supervision
Skills :
Must be able to navigate in and around the various streets & neighborhoods in the city of Boston
Must have an understanding of aerial, underground & easement permitting processes in the city of Boston
Must be able to read, interpret and understand fiber optic matrix & design
Must have an understanding of proper building attachments, inside wiring & NEC standards
Must be fluent at using Microsoft office, Google maps & other proprietary software
Must be able to work independently or in a team environment
Must be able to communicate professionally with co-workers, utility workers & customers
Ability and willingness to follow direction from Supervision
Ability to work in an outdoor environment during all times of the year
Willingness to travel and work additional hours as needed to meet Customer demands.
