Competitive unit rates $86.00 per drop, pay is weekly.
Qualifications
Required skills/qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years experience in the communication industry. Preferable on MTU/MDU projects.
• Efficient problem solving skills.
• Able to work in aerial and underground conditions.
• Able to work after hours and weekends when the job requires.
• Must have a valid drivers license and vehicle insurance.
Required tools:
All techs are required to drive their personal vehicles, and have the following tools.
• 28' fiberglass extension ladder with hooks
Other Requirements
All applicants must pass a DMV and Background check, and will be subject to random drug test.
Job Description
We are seeking full-time, experienced MTU technicians to place fiber optic drops for Verizon Fios commercial installs.
Primary responsibilities for this position:
• Placing fiber optic drops in a business environment.
• Placing aerial drops as well as in a underground environment.
• Maintain project tracking information (production sheets, time sheets and customer required paperwork)
• Maintain a safe work environment.
