Job Description
Digital Cable & Communications South is seeking highly motivated and dedicated Superstars to install and maintain Consumer Broadband/Cable services in the Hampton Roads, Virginia areas. We offer paid training and permanent and full time positions for individuals who demonstrate a strong work ethic, direct focus on quality, have strong communication skills and the ability to work without direct supervision. NCTI certifications a plus.

Job Responsibilities:
A Cable Technician is responsible for the installation and maintenance of residential cable services. This includes, but is not limited to, connecting service at the pole or installing new lines from the utility pole to the customer's residence. You are also responsible for Installing new lines and equipment in the customer's residence and troubleshooting existing lines and equipment at all Customer's residence.
Overview:
Technicians will be provided extensive training and will be tested on their knowledge of Cable, Internet, Telephony Installations and maintenance. Technicians will be evaluated on their knowledge and ability to perform tasks that meet DCCS standards. You will also be evaluated on quality control and performance metrics. Technicians must accept to work in all weather conditions, maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude.
--Must be able to lift and carry 80lbs.
--Climb heights up to 30 ft.
--Work in tight spaces, attics and crawl spaces.
