Paid per survey and extra address passings. Variable scale based on geography.
Qualifications
Must understand basic cable system architecture and theory. Telecom construction background a definite plus. Good writing and data entry skills required. System Mapping and basic geography knowledge also a plus. Must be proficient in basic computer skills, data entry, Excel and Word. Must pass background check, drug test, and be insured.
Other Requirements
Reliable vehicle required, laptop or other computer access for receiving and closing surveys. measuring wheel, binoculars, digital camera, are also basic tools.
Job Description
Surveyor will visit potential customer locations and gather information based on a provided guidelines and template to estimate possible construction costs. Information will also be documented on system maps and Google maps to better convey the work required to establish service to the customer. All information must be accurate and complete.
The surveys are closed depending on type through either a web-based system or email. strict timelines must be followed for survey closeout.
Customer contact is required by phone on all and face-to-face on some surveys, so good customer relations skills are required.
We have plenty of work, so a desire to earn good money is a plus.
