Qualifications
We expect you to follow DirecTV standards and guidelines, complete and download paperwork daily and be professional in appearance and especially have good customer service skills. Treat customers with respect, courtesy, and professionalism at all times.
Other Requirements
You MUST have the following: a current SBCA certification; Liability insurance; a valid Driver's License; cell phone, computer, scanner and active internet; insured and presentable work truck or van; 28' ladder and and especially all tools required to perform installations including Bird dog or Sat buddy meter.
Job Description
Essential Duties:
Plans installations by reviewing work orders, gathering supplies, evaluating location, locating access, formulating wiring plans, and arranging equipment
Installs and programs equipment
Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, replace, and upgrade components
Checks satellite TV systems for correct functionality and optimal performance
Coordinates schedules with customers
Listens to descriptions of problems, answering questions, and resolving issues
