Qualifications
Demonstrated skill and experience with fiber route design, fiber splicing design, CAD, mapping programs, desktop software such as Word and Excel, and PA One Call. Special consideration for people with GPON engineering. Knowledge of all applicable construction and safety standards.
Other Requirements
Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record.
Job Description
Fiber engineer will be responsible for route determination, fiber and splicing design, complete documentation including construction and as-built, and inspection and reconciliation of completed build. Must have good written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work well with others in a team.
