Qualifications
Looking for UG foreman supervisor able to operate excavator, trencher, other day to day UG equipment, trained in confined space. Able to provide input for bidding of projects ranging from rod/rope to trenching, concrete encasement, pad sites, raising manhole frame/covers, etc. Clean MVR a must, CDL class A license a definite plus. Must pass pre-employment drug screen. looking for candidate local to CT within commute range of Newington.
Other Requirements
Most digging and related tools supplied, personal hand tools will be required.
Job Description
Work description will include work for multiple customers not necessarily limited to communications work: Trenching, boring, road cuts, conduit placement for communications and other utilities, rod/rope work, placement of innerducts, copper, coax, and/or fiber placement in conduits within manhole structures, manhole, hand hole, pedestal placements or repairs, splice pits, all types of restoration, acquiring permits for company. Looking for management type person that is not afraid to get dirty.
