Qualifications

Two Years Prior experience, a valid driver’s license with clean DMV record, a high school diploma or equivalent. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. EOE. Must pass E-Verify background.

• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Thorough knowledge of all aspects of Telecom construction (Aerial and UG knowledge) • Strong problem-solving skills • Highly organized • Ability to occasionally lift 100 lbs. • At least 2 years of cable construction experience • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as Excel and Outlook to manage job tracking spreadsheets. Occasional overnight travel required • Must have valid driver’s license • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Job Description

Telecommunications Company seeks a full time CATV Field Supervisor to work in the Inland Empire/Orange County area to be responsible for overseeing day to day activities of the field personnel assigned & assist Project Manager with duties as assigned. Projects include day to day maintenance, commercial new build, cell tower backhaul, and new residential construction.

Specific duties include:
• Supervising telecommunication construction projects from walk out to completion. Jobs are aerial and UG. Candidate must be able to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
• Work closely with Project Manager and other supervisors to coordinate and plan company resources on a daily basis.
• Issue work to in-house and contractor crews. Review work on completion to ensure project is completed to customer and municipal specifications.
• Interact with customer and home/business owners to resolve field issues affecting project completion
• File complete and accurate accident reports (Workers Compensation, Auto and General Liability), including claim resolution with home owners
• Review and authorize daily work reports. Ensure employees and contractors accurately document the work they complete.
• Perform pre-construction job walks with customer representative. Provide job cost estimates based on contract pricing and scope of work.
• Assist with permit applications as required. Gather required information for permit and provide details to permitting department for drafting
• Operate company assigned vehicle in a safe manner
• Monitor crews to ensure safe working conditions and compliance with OSHA safety requirements
• On occasion coordinator will assist crews in completing job tasks.
• Other duties as assigned by the project manager required to complete jobs in a safe and timely manner.
