Qualifications
Must be able to splice independently, enclosures mid sheath, nodes, etc. Minimum two (2) years of experience required with basic construction skills in communications maintenance. Siecor M90 or Fujikura Equipment training a plus.
Other Requirements
Must possess strong problem solving, decision making, analytical skills and organizational skills. Ability to read, write understand and follow written procedures of any given customer. Ability to work from an Aerial lift truck and/or ladder. Ability to use light source and power meters. Read and understand splice matrix, work any hours as needed, install term shelves.
Job Description
Immediate openings for experienced OSP Fiber splicing techs for Pensacola and Ft Walton Beach. POSITION SUMMARY: Technician will also be responsible for testing of spliced fibers using OTDR and Insertion loss equipment.
