Job Description
Job Title: Materials Planner
Location: Flagstaff, AZ. West Region
Classification: Full Time/Benefited/Non-Exempt
Position Reports To: Office Operations Supervisor
Position Description: Assist inventory coordinators and warehouse supervisors with physical inventories and associated research.
Position Requirements: Prior warehouse/inventory experience, knowledge of PC's billing systems.
Strong PC and application program knowledge is needed.
Requires a self-starter with the ability to meet deadlines and adapt to rapidly changing priorities.
Attention to detail is essential.
Good communication skills to negotiate with vendors and customers.
Valid local driver’s license with good DMV record.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED, Trade School training helpful
COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
Contacts with other departments and frequent customer contact. Substantial sensitivity and cooperation required to manage customers, vendors, agents, contractors, and employees.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of statistics, trigonometry, algebra and geometry.
PROBLEM SOLVING:
Ability to work with customer group to and bring out the win win solution.
OTHER COMPETENCIES/SKILLS:
Teamwork, adaptability, and ability to operate material handling equipment.
