Drill Operators will be paid by the hour depending on experience, Lineman and Techs will have the option of hourly or piece rate. Rates will be discussed with serious applicants.
Qualifications
Must have one year experience locating and operating Ditch Witch or Vermeer Drills. Lineman and techs must be able to climb poles, and be experienced with phone, CATV, and fiber placement, one year or more experience preferred.
Other Requirements
Transportation to and from work, clean driving record, drug free. Must be willing to work out of town periodically. Other employment terms will be considered "W2"
Job Description
S.C.S. is a local construction company specializing in Phone, CATV, and Fiber Construction. Employees will be required to do other duties above and beyond their specialty if needed to stay busy or get the job done. State "DOT" work experience with ATMS and electrical is a plus. Directional Drilling consist mostly of drilling 1.25" to 4" conduit. Lineman's duties consist of make ready, pole violation, hanging fiber, CATV, and phone cable. Techs with experience in both a coax, phone, and fiber is a big plus but not required to know all three applications.
