Job Description

Communications Constructions Group, LLC – Old Saybrook, CT

Telecommunications Company seeks a full time CATV Engineering Supervisor to work in the Old Saybrook, CT Office; responsible for spreadsheets & scheduling. Must have basic knowledge of construction & fiber and be well versed in splicing & sweeping cable plant, as well as possess the ability to QC both operations and report to the customer.

Duties Include:

•Preparation of daily work assignments for splicing personnel on-site.
•Maintain quality control and compliance with contract specifications.
•Manage productivity and maintain the production schedule.
•Responsible for the on-site maintenance of all documentation pertaining to the system performance records, notices, and specific reports required under the contract.
•Responsible for workforce compliance with all safety regulations including all OSHA requirements.
•Interact with customer representatives regarding work completion, and resolve conflicts when necessary.
•Filing complete and accurate accident reports (Workers Compensation, Auto and General Liability)
•Review work and confirm its completion according to customer specifications.
•Maintenance of field vehicles and equipment.
•Responsible for controlling job costs and overall profitability.
