Qualifications
Education and/or Experience: BS or BA in Engineering disciplines
Computer skills: Proficient computer knowledge, including Auto Cad, ATT Map Applications, Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
Mathematical skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of geometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
Other Requirements
Language skills: Ability to read, analyze, write, and effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees and the general public.
Reasoning ability: Ability to solve practical problems. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Job Description
Main Duties:
• Use Auto Cad or ATT Map Applications to create designs for New Build, plant extensions pertaining to SDU, MDU, Commercial throughout the Central Valley area.
• Design Commercial New Build plant extensions and respond to in house construction requests.
• Document all designs in the Company's tracking system.
• Attend joint trench meetings and pre-engineering meetings.
• Obtain agency permits when necessary.
• Perform other related duties as required
