Qualifications
A) Must have at least one to two years experience in the utility construction industry as an operator/foreman
B) Must have competent experience in reading CATV & Telephone prints
C) Must have a valid, insurance acceptable drivers license
D) Must have or be able to obtain a Class A CDL
E) Must have training in utility safety standards
Pre-employment drug screening required.
Background check required.
Job Description
This position is responsible for supervising the work crew consisting of 2-6 crew members. This position will plan the most efficient and effective work order in order to perform tasks on a daily and weekly basis. This position is responsible for identifying, communicating and troubleshooting problems on the job site. This position is responsible for ensuring quality work as well as creating and ensuring a positive, professional company image on the job site.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
A) Travel to jobsite's for a week or more at a time in a designated area
B) Supervise a crew of 2-6 members to effectively complete job orders
C) Maintain responsibility for assigned equipment and vehicles
D) Plan the most efficient and effective order to perform tasks on a day-to-day and week-to-week basis
E) Understand how equipment works and how that equipment s utilized to perform the job function.
