Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Respond to One-Call emergencies, locate routine ticket requests and indicate utility locations through the utilization of paint, flags, wiskers or any combination of the indicators. Employee will be required to communicate with excavation personnel or other appropriate authorities.
Utilize site plans, area maps, blueprints, laptops computer-mapping database and other location information along with locating equipment to locate underground utilities including, but not limited to: electrical cables, water lines, sewer lines, steam lines, gas lines, telephone and other communication lines, as well as duct banks and electric/water/gas taps to buildings.
Maintains accurate records of work time, client utility updates, billing and damage reporting information.
Responds to after-hours emergency call-outs in accordance with the established rotation schedule.
Valid driver’s license in applicable state of employment.
Work over 40 hours per week including nights and weekends.
