Qualifications
Required Knowledge and Skills:
• Prior permitting experience a must.
• Previous management experience
• Ability to work collaboratively with various agencies.
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow specific guidelines.
• Knowledge of national safety codes and construction standards.
• Ability and willingness to travel frequently.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Other Requirements
Additional Information:
• Typical work week: Monday-Friday, 8:00-5:00
• Some work outside of these normal workday hours will be required.
• This is a field position and need not be based in Iron Mountain.
Job Description
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Working with permit agencies to obtain permitting guidelines.
• Determining permitting jurisdictions in the field.
• Gathering permit information in the field following specific guidelines.
• Tracking and submitting permits to various agencies.
• Oversight of fielding staff to gather required information
