Job Description
Looking for Dependable Satellite Installers in and around the Tallahassee area.
BBI-LLC has openings for Satellite Installation Technicians.
This position applys a combination of skills including customer service, technical, and telecommunications. Working directly in the field with our customers, this position is the face of DirecTV and BBI-LLC.
Scope of work:
Installation of DirecTV in existing homes for customers that have signed up for the service. Job consists of getting a list of customers at the beginning of the day and then working until those jobs are completed. The job includes; performing a pre-installation walk through, mounting a satellite dish to the home, running cable to the TV locations, installing receivers, activating equipment, teaching the customer how to use the equipment, getting signatures from the customer, closing out the job with our dispatchers and on to the next one. At times you may be lifting heavy objects, working off a ladder, working in tight spaces, working with hand tools and power tools.
We work 6 days a week, Off Sundays.
* Be able to lift 50 lbs and climb 20-40 foot ladders.
* Be a great communicator, both verbally and written.
* Be able to provide amazing customer service, generally we look for 1-2 years of experience. * Have a valid driver's license.
* Be able to test negative on a pre-employment drug test.
* Meet our the criminal and MVR (driving record) background screening criteria.
* Have your own truck, van or SUV. No installing out of a car.
* Be able to work 6 days a week, sunup to sundown. Monday - Saturday
* Be honest and hardworking.
* Be driven and self motivated.
* Have all your own tools (starter kits are available)
* Be able to follow directions.
* Be able to communicate with customers
