Qualifications
All candidates must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent. Power supply or CATV experience is preferred, paid training available. 50%+ Travel between markets is required. Bucket truck experience is preferred. Candidates must provide their own common hand tools and drill. Candidates must also be able to handle 80lbs and work outdoors year-round.
Other Requirements
Must, meet screening requirements for drug screening, criminal background checks and Driving Record Checks.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
• To troubleshoot, diagnose, repair or replace the customer’s equipment as needed.
• Works closely with the Supervisor and Project Managers for work assignments such as data collection and test procedures. Record signal levels, daily time, and test results in required documentation.
• Operates Bucket tucks, hand tools, power tools, ladders, signal level meters, volt meters, and other test equipment.
• Completes required paperwork, time sheets, daily test results, vehicle inspection, logs, noting any problems requiring attention of other staff members. These reports must be submitted timely
• Maintains a clean and organized company vehicle/ equipment. To carry out all work efficiently and in the safest possible manner. Safety is a prime directive of all employees
• Assists other Team personnel in the performance of their duties when requested to promote a Team approach to problem solving. May perform other duties not listed
