Must have valid driver's license, current auto insurance, social security card, be able to pass a background check and drug screen. Must have a neat, clean appearance.
Other Requirements
Tools required - Reliable vehicle, measuring wheel, measuring stick and range finder not required but highly recommended.
Job Description
We have immediate openings for in-house construction survey techs in eastern PA. We are looking for qualified technicians to complete field surveys to provide commercial customers with CATV services. Local candidates are preferred but we will consider out of area candidates who are qualified. Qualified candidates must be highly experienced in CATV construction and installation practices (aerial and UG). A good understanding of the NESC is essential. Knowledge of Make-Ready Engineering and permitting a plus. Very strong mapping skills are required. Must know how to strand map and as-built CATV plant, identify all CATV equipment.

We need an accurate construction site survey providing us with accurate exterior and interior routing. We need someone who can propose proper aerial and UG routing and be able to identify potential construction issues. Must be able to discern whether a permit or private easements are required, if make-ready on poles is required and understand all aspects of guying. Neat writing is required. You must understand Comcast HSI, CDV, PRI etc. Metro E and fiber knowledge is a plus.Strong computer skills required. Must be proficient in EXCEL, WORD and the internet.
Must be highly motivated and be able to manage your time wisely. This is a long term project with a HIGH volume work load. Please send resumes to the link below. No contractors, please. This is a W2 in-house position.
