Very good hourly rates, DOE, plus travel, lodging, and vehicle. Work is Monday thru Friday 8 am to 5 pm. Six months job could become permanent. Company in business in Alaska 27 years.
Qualifications
CATV experience in; upgrade splicing; troubleshooting outages; balancing actives; CLI and noise supression experience; good climber, own handtools and hooks.
Other Requirements
Pass thorough background investigation; have a good driving record; pass pre-employment drug tests; have verifiable CATV work references.
Job Description
Noise supression in CATV systems while upgrade is in progress. Measure noise at actives to direct noise work. Locate noise sources. Repair immediately or report for repair by others. Replace aerial drops. Repair house cabling and connections. Have good customer service manners. Complete daily production reports and work maps. Use microsoft excell and word. Be familiar with SDA5000 and DSAM. Learn new test equipment easily.
