Job Description
I&R/DSL - Must demonstrate the skills, possess the tools and test equipment necessary to perform all phases of installation and repair of subscriber premises, small business equipment including Full Install DSL/VDSL, multi line phones, and complex cable trouble.
Cable Maintenance - Locate and repair trouble in F2 cable pairs. Aerial/buried, pedestals, etc. Must have Dynatel DSP 965 or equivalent to locate trouble. MUST be experienced in locating and repairing cable trouble.
IPTV - The Video Installation and Repair Technician must demonstrate the skills and possess the tools and test equipment necessary to perform all phases of installation and repair of subscriber premise equipment associated with all Company video products, including MDU (Multi-Dwelling Unit) applications.
Fiber/IPTV/I&R (Hawaii)- Techs need to be qualified in running jumpers in the CO, I&R with HSI (high speed internet), CATV or IPTV (VIDEO Installation and Repair) and fiber optics. If you don’t do fiber then you must be strong in I&R and strong in VIDEO.
