Job Description
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair problems with RF, AC, DC portion of forward & reverse plant such as transmission levels, signal loss, off-air interference which includes troubleshooting of optical power.
Perform routine balancing, aligning, & adjustment of equipment and components used to amplify & process signals.
Test main trunk lines using signal level meters, spectrum analyzers, volt-OHM meters and other related test equipment on a regular basis. Test power supply on a regular basis & perform field engineering walkout as required.
Complete & maintain accurate records including work orders, daily logs & other necessary paperwork.
After hours standby duty
Clean, Stock, Maintain, & Secure assigned vehicle and equipment
Perform other duties as requested by supervisor
Position would also require some home installations & construction.
