Job Description
Job Summary:
Create network design drawings using Computer-aided Design (CAD) hardware and software tools with minimal instruction on daily work, general instructions provided on newly introduced assignments.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
• Create and modify detailed network design drawings using CAD hardware and software from
sketches, layouts or notes provided by others.
• Analyze current network designs and make modifications to facilitate the needs of the customer.
• Check drawing plots versus the project standards.
• Create new Radio Frequency (RF) Design using Lode Data, Bentley Comms or other industry
software.
• May work with system management including file maintenance, backup, and storage.
• Perform other duties as required.
Required Skills
• Basic knowledge of RF Design Theory.
• Demonstrated understanding of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and CAD software tools.
• Strong time management, communication, analytical, interpersonal and organization skills.
• CATV OR COMMUNICATIONS IS REQUIRED.

Required Experience
• 3+ years experience with AutoCAD and Cable TV design.
• Experience with Lode Data, BentleyComms and/or Spatial Info.
• Technical training certificate in CAD design and/or drafting preferred.
