AM Communications is looking for qualified technicians to start immediately. This is a long-term project.
Pay
Competitive rates w/different pay tiers for crew size (1-10 techs). Monthly performance bonus for exceeding certain performance benchmarks. $2,000 Sign-on Bonus for experienced techs who start work in April and May 2013. Paid Lodging.
Qualifications
Must be able to work 6 days with an average of 60 hours per week; including weekends. Pass a national criminal background check, have a valid driver’s license and pass a drug screen. Must have proper training to install and troubleshoot video, data and voice services. Must maintain proper liability insurance during length of contract.
Other Requirements
Must have at the start of the contract vehicle, hand tools, specialty tools, test equipment, PDA (Android or Windows Laptop), cell phone, safety equipment and ladders. The vehicle(s) must be a newer or late model utility van or pick-up truck, white in color and able to offer protection for CPE and materials.
Job Description
Perform installations, upgrades and repairs of residential cable product and services.
Responsible for proper installation and removal of aerial and underground drops, coax outlets, and CPE.
Must be able to maintain strong performance metrics on service on install, repeat on service, on time guarantees, whole house check, customer surveys, quality and other performance metrics.
Manage, track and organize client equipment (CPE) and small parts.
Must be able to account for the usage of all equipment.
Carry out all work performed in the safest possible manner; following all OHSA and industry safety guidelines and requirements.
