Qualifications

This position requires that the candidate pass an extensive background investigation, drug screening, possess a valid California driver’s license, and carry auto insurance liability limits of $100K/$300K/$100K or 400K combined single limit. A High school diploma or equivalent. 3-5 years direct experience working as a Supervisor or Manager within the Telecommunications Construction industry. Experience managing subcontractors a plus.

Job Description

The Construction Services Liaison’s primary responsibility is the development of client relations to maximize the work opportunities for our construction group. In addition, this position is responsible for managing all project administration, including payroll, invoicing, and production reports. Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Leadership
o Manages a small team of construction supervisors and warehouse specialists.
o Coach and mentor supervisors.
o Interact with client liaisons to maintain good working relationship and maximize job allocation. Constantly works to improve these relationships.
o Communicate and enforce Employee Handbook and Safety Policies.
o Responds to all Client and Company Senior Management inquiries in a timely manner.

• Invoicing
o Have a clear understanding of all contract invoicing items.
o Reconcile and verify the accuracy of invoices with subcontractors on a weekly basis.
o Review invoices with client to ensure approval of invoice.

• Personnel Administration
o Conduct performance evaluations for supervisors on a periodic basis.
o Responsible for disciplinary actions, to include counseling, documenting, and firing, as needed.
o Report all accidents and/or injuries to the home office immediately.

• Production
o Analyze production data and trends and initiate corrective action as needed.
o Review production data with supervisors and subcontractors to ensure production efficiency.

• Payroll
o Review payroll information to ensure accuracy.
o Submit weekly payroll information to the home office no later than 12:00 noon every Tuesday.
o Ensure that new employee applications are submitted to the home office on the date of hire for that employee.
o Analyze payroll trends and recommend corrective action as needed.

• Quality Control
o Ensure that quality control checks are being conducted and coordinate corrective actions as needed.
o Handle all customer and client complaints or property damage issues with emphasis on maintaining customer good will and minimizing cost to the company.

• Inventory Control
o Responsible for accuracy of all product and parts inventory consigned by client.
o Responsible for maintaining accurate equipment inventory and generate equipment forecasts.
