Qualifications
Knowledge of HFC plant. Experience splicing coax (PI, PIII, MC2) aerial and underground. Forward and reverse activation (including Docsis). AC/DC knowledge. RF design and troubleshooting. Ability to climb poles or use ladder. Bucket truck operation. Experience in module swaps. Health Card required and must be able to obtain a Class A CDL.
Other Requirements
Must pass pre-employment drug screen. Send resume to . Ability to think on your own and solve problems in the field. Must be available to work days as well as maintenance window shifts. Must be willing to travel as needed (typically 100 mile radius). Must have a good driving record.
Job Description
Splice in new actives where needed in new build and rebuild/ upgrade areas. Swap out modules in trunk amps, GNA's and LE's. Balance forward and reverse, check EOL's. Other duties assigned as necessary.
