Qualifications
Experience and Background: Previous Residential Cable TV or Satellite TV Experience. Education: High School graduate or equivalent Abilities, Skills, and Knowledge: Ability to work both indoors/outdoors in all kinds of weather and lift up to 50 lbs. Good customer service skills.
Other Requirements
Must have a current valid DL and a non-negligent driving record. Pass criminal background check and drug screen. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. Must have own truck, van, SUV, with ladder rack. Must also have 28ft fiberglass ladder (v-rung & hooks), 6ft fiberglass ladder, and climbing belt
Job Description
Cable Technicians work both inside and outside, and are responsible for the installation and customer care of the new fiber optic system, high speed internet, and voice services. Cable technicians are responsible for: Educating customers on service features and functionality, install and rearrange inside wires, verify all services are working correctly, work with hand tools in all kinds of weather, and possibly work in confined spaces or aloft (up to 28ft).
