We are currently recruiting energetic, driven, and responsible candidates for the position of SATELLITE INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN in the State of Indiana. We are searching for candidates that have the skills and abilities to be trained in installing DISH Network systems in customer homes and commercial businesses. Must be able to complete paid training at our corporate headquarters in Marion, IN for up to three months (with expenses paid).
This is an opportunity for the right person to receive progressive hands-on training in home and commercial DISH Network satellite installation from a skilled Lead Satellite Technician. This position includes take-home company vehicle, gas card, most tools, cell phone and installation materials provided.
Responsibilities:
Installation, testing, and repair of satellite and related equipment that receive communication satellite signals for residential and commercial customers, by performing the following duties (but are not limited to):
- Installs dishes and related equipment to receive satellite signals
- Climbs ladder to install when area is inaccessible from ground or construct pole or roof mounts for antenna base
- Tests installed system for conformance to specifications
- Instructs customer in use of equipment
- Ensures that required paperwork is completed and submitted timely and accurately
- Accurately maintains equipment inventory in truck
- Ensure that the highest quality of service is provided to promote superior customer satisfaction
- Adheres to all safety guidelines and requirements
- Sell add-on products to customers
- Must be able to work outside in all season
- Must be neat and presentable when wearing company uniform
