Qualifications
• Must have knowledge of HFC plant operations.
• Prior coax splicing experience.
• Must be self motivated and able to work within time controls.
• Must be detail oriented and proficient with paperwork.
• Knowledge of MS Excel & Word preferred.
• Verbal and Oral Communication skills.
• Experience with climbing utility poles and ability to handle and use a 28 foot ladder.
• Must be willing to travel and work odd hours in an outdoor environment.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and pass a D
Job Description
Long term project in Oklahoma
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Splice overhead and underground coaxial cables.
• Climb utility poles and utilize truck-mounted lift buckets.
• Cut and prepare coaxial cable prior to splicing and prepare electronics.
• Install, remove and maintain cable system components.
• Set up and balance electronics to customer specifications.
• Perform operational checks and preventive maintenance inspection requirements, and verify end-of-line readings (EOL).
• Troubleshoot problem areas.
• Complete daily production forms and other company-required forms on a timely basis.
• Perform inventory control on company vehicles.
• Perform other duties as directed by Supervisor.
