Qualifications
Absolutely must have at least 5 years experience of aerial construction. Ability to operate bucket trucks, lash cable, set anchors, build strand, place fiber optics, climb poles, experience in leading a crew, read cable schematics, and perform all aspects of cable construction and maintenance. Do not apply if you do not have experience in all of the above. Not looking to train a lineman, only looking for an experienced lineman who can lead others.
Other Requirements
Must have valid drivers license, with own transportation. Must have climbing gear or be able to purchase some upon hiring. Must have a strong work ethic, be dependable, work safely, work well with others, perform duties without supervision, and be drug free. Not necessary, but ability to splice coax a plus.
Job Description
Perform all duties as assigned on a daily basis. Including, new construction of cable tv facilities, repair of existing facilities, and lead a linecrew to perform such duties with the use of bucket trucks and pole climbing gear. This is a 40 hour/week position with some occasional weekend work and overtime potential.
