Qualifications
Must be able to read CATV maps. Must have some CATV field mapping experience. Must have some Fiber Optic hands on work (construction,splicing,etc).
Other Requirements
Bucket Truck , Fiberglass Extension Ladder , Range Finder , Push Wheel , All saftey gear ( Saftey lanyard, Hard Hat, Climbing Belt, Etc ) is required.
Job Description
Responsible for collection and documenting all fiber sheath data at Storage Loops, Splice Enclosures, Nodes, Risers, Vaults, Pedistals, Pull Boxes, Etc.
The Data collected will be documented on existing strand maps that will be provided to you. Must be able to draw fiber very neatly and legibly on strand maps. Must follow all OSHA saftey rules and additional saftey rules as required by the customer, no acceptions.
