3-5 yrs solid project mt exp in installation and drop bury 5 Yrs of Telecommunications professional services experience Exp managing daily ops of a funct group or acting as a team or project lead Knowledgeable of purpose and scope of activities conducted by subordinates and can effectively manage them Proven ability to establish and nurture a strong team environment Ability to work well with subordinates peers & superiors Highly eff oral and written communicator Energetic and motivated

Other Requirements

Ability to build and develop a group with a team approach Proficient with Telecom Industry and project deployment practice Demonstrated leadership, planning, organizational and analytical skills Past work experience in fiber optic cable installation and construction is preferred Experience using Microsoft Office suite of products, i.e. Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio, Word, etc. is required Prior experience with managing large project budgets is preferred.

Job Description

Bear Communications currently seeks a Regional Installation Manager for our Install and Drop Bury Department. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.

Position Summary:
This person will be responsible for the project management of Install department we have been awarded. We are looking for someone with a strong background in installation and drop bury construction and experience managing large fiber builds. Bear Communications has grown our installation department exponentially over the last 4 years and we are seeking an exceptional individual to oversee the successful completion of projects we are awarded. This is a full time long term position with lots of opportunity for growth.

Responsibilities:
-Provide vision, direction and management to existing and future Bear employees and contractors
-Motivate, mentor and provide direction to your field team
-Ability to analyze projects to track costs and improve processes
-Prepare and ensure that project goals are met on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
-Ability to investigate project cost variances
-Ensuring efficient processes are in place
-Ensure projects are completed on time
-Ensure all project goals are met
-Communicates key milestones, issues and project status
-Resolves issues affecting projects scope, quality, effort, risk, and timeline
-Creates and manages contingency plans for the projects
-Reviews and provides feedback on projects deliverables (product requirements, functional specifications, etc.)
-Receive and reviews Site Documentation
-Schedule materials and techs for upcoming projects
-Monitor site development
-Walk site daily and inspect for any punch items
-Provides site supervision, resources, and ensures all personnel working on project have the proper safety equipment.
-Monitors site construction budget and manpower needs to effectively support site build
