Qualifications
NCTI or SCTE certification.
Excellent knowledge of the National Electric Code (low voltage).
Working knowledge of the Telecommunications industry.
Working knowledge of cable and phone installation.
Min-5 years experience creating/implementing training strategies for systems and non systems implementation. Develop training programs for Cable Construction, cable installation, leadership safety, etc. Develop training materials.Project Management/Assessment/Metric development experience a plus.

This position is responsible for managing and executing the design, development and deployment of a training program for field personnel and Company management.Exp using survey and assessment tools to identify bus needs and measure effectiveness of trng prog.Proven exceptional group facilitation/trng skills. Must be able to use a computer with a high degree of proficiency (Word, Excel, Power Point).
Must have a current, valid dr lic./pass bkgrd ck/drug test.
Job Description
• Assessment: Collaborate with the Company management team to assess the training requirements and needs for the Company. Collaborate with the Director of Technical Operations and Operations Managers to make recommendations regarding training, communications and change management requirements for the life of the project.
• Design: Refine the training strategy and design training program leveraging a consistent methodology, best practices and a common set of tools. Plans must include recommended deliverables, project milestones, resource planning, and success metrics .prior to beginning development.
• Planning: Ensure that the training approach is consistent with core Bear Communications methodologies. Develop all or portions of the systems/business transformation training curriculum, ensuring that sound instructional design principles are applied. Develop the training plan and training schedule. Assess the training logistics requirements and resource requirements.
• Development: Partner with the Director of Technical Operations, project resources and business subject matter experts to develop the material/content.
• Training Program Management: Partner with the Director of Technical Operations and project resources to manage the implementation of the project training program. This includes overseeing training developers (when applicable) and providing them with direction in the development and delivery of training content. Coordinate training enrollments; ensure quality as well as manage the review process of the training materials. Coordinate with the Director of Technical Operations on the role to positioning as well as other interdependent change management/training milestones. Maintain effective relationships with the management staff.
• Facilitation: Help facilitate project based training for end users, facilitation techniques for trainers as well as project team members, as required.
