Monday through Friday with some Saturdays as needed.
(40 to 50 hours per week average)

Qualifications
Three years in Construction Management preferred. Five year experience in Power/CATV/Telephone type underground construction. • Thorough understanding of Telecommunications construction and supervising construction projects. • Familiarity with cable plows, horizontal drill, and mini excavators a plus. • Above average communication skills both verbal and written. • Ability to interface with office and field personnel, customers, general public, other management, visitors and company personnel.
Other Requirements
Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office Suite. Willing to learn new software if required.
Must be able to lift 75 pounds.
Job Description
Summary of Job Responsibility’s (Subject to change at management discretion)
• Coordinate, manage and complete to customer satisfaction and specifications all work placed under your control.
• Lead, direct, coach and motivate all crews working with jobs under your control with all aspects of their daily duties such as, prepping for day, routing, field assistance, paperwork, etc.
• Verify accuracy of daily reports, truck mileage, equipment hours, receipts, footages or items claimed, and billing (footage, items, hours and adjustments). Verify that all daily material usage sheets are accurate.
• Monitor and preform safety inspections, both surprise and scheduled on all trucks, trailers, and equipment as needed. This will be shared between all supervisors.
• Conduct crews in a fashion to display safe productive days while maintaining a quality job.
• Perform inspection of QC work: inspect QC records (gig sheets) and insure QC is being performed accurately. QC jobs under your control when needed.
• Secure permits from utilities, DOT, Railroad and local, state and federal agencies as required.
• Coordinate Construction projects with utility personnel, Clients, customers, contractors and governmental officials. Set up and attend meetings as required.
• Apply for and maintain legal dig dates on all projects in you control. This includes white lining all jobs and placing one calls and confirming locates prior to crew being scheduled.
• Assist in the transfer of work from the underground to the commercial dept. when required.
• Notify our office and our clients of any delays and or changes with a job that is previously scheduled.
• Maintain an up to date pending list.
• Monitor, order, and stage all material for jobs under your control. Coordinate with other supervisors to maintain the company’s base inventory.
• Monitor customer relations, including but not limited to: addressing customer issues, successfully resolving all disputes, and working to locate any private utilities.
• Perform manual labor as needed to assist office, warehouse, and Crews if needed.
• Coordinate with other managers to ensure safety meetings are held and documented along with preforming weekly tool box meetings.
• Perform other related duties as requested from superiors.
