Job Description
ITG is seeking a experienced Sweep and Balance Techs in Lanett, Alabama. This is an Independent Contractor position (In house opportunities available also)
Sub-Contractors : Must have SDA 5000 w/QAM, bucket truck, ladder, TDR.
Responsibilities :
1. Rough balance all amplifers in the system to +/- 1 db of the system design.
2. Align and sweep the forward designed bandwidth verifying each systems amplifier in the system meets performance criteria.
3. Balance and sweep the return designed bandwidth verifying each systems amplifier is within 3 dB peak-to-valley.
4. Provide sweep traces at the internal test point and every active port for all amplifiers including line extenders.
5. During sweep it may also be necessary to install signature correction devices at designated amplifiers.
6. Provide a sweep trace response with all Amplifier Data Sheets that will list all vital information for each amplifier.
