Qualifications
Must have at least 3 years experience as a fiber splicer; must be proficient reading state specifications, allocations, reviewing plans and testing fiber with the OTDR and Power Meter. FOA Certification is a plus.
Job Description
We are a small Fiber Optics company looking for experienced fiber splicers. You will need a valid drivers license (our insurance carrier will run an MVR to verify your history), run through E-Verify, Drug Tested and Background tested. You will need at least 4 references and we will contact all of them.
We cover multiple installations for cable, aerial and underground, traffic signals, CCTVs, Ramp Meters, IVDS installations, wireless equipment, etc.
Must be familiar with safety perimeter signage - setting of signs, cones, safety barriers and flagging traffic.
Must be experienced driving a truck and splicing trailer.
