Job Description
Established CATV/Telecom Company is looking for experienced installation technicians. Qualified candidates must have Experienced Voice, Data and Video installation experience. Good customer service skills, reliable transportation, (OWN truck and tools), and clean criminal & driving history. Previous Cable TV or Satellite TV installation experience is a MUST, experience with fiber a plus. Will train qualified installers on installation & repair of voice, data, video & fiber optic system.
Requirements:
This position will be required to perform the following tasks:
•To provide the cable subscriber with the best possible installation, while maintaining all system specifications, and procedures.
•Operate vehicles, hand tools, power tools, 28 ft ladder, 6 ft ladder, televisions, signal level meters, volt meters, converters, cable locators, leakage detection devices, test equipment.
•Completes required paperwork and data entire: including installation Work Orders, timesheets, service orders, vehicle inspection/inventory report, others.
•Maintains a clean and organized vehicle/equipment and executes all work in the safest possible manner.
•Provides the subscriber with the best customer service, and promotes a good relationship between the subscriber and the service provider.
•Must convey a positive and professional appearance and demeanor when communicating the company's products and services to our customers.
•Assists other Technical personnel in the performance of their duties
•Performs all other duties as assigned.
•Valid Driver's License.
•Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
•Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions, be able to climb a ladder, crawl in tight spaces, and lift up to 80 lbs.
