Immediately after background check, MVR and drug screen come back approved. Experienced Coax splicers and Line Call Maintenance Techs needed immediately for ongoing projects in Dallas area with additional projects in Texas starting in 2 weeks.
Pay
Piece Price and/or Footage Price for In House and Independent Subcontractors. Company offers medical benefits and supplies bucket truck, ladder and SDA meter for work for In House employees. Sub contractors furnish their own truck and tools.
Qualifications
Coax splicers must have minimum 5 yrs splicing multiple cable sizes. Must be able to read system maps, and rough balance. Production splicers that climb and have good knowledge of powering are preferred. Must have own tools and climbing gear. Line Call Maintenance Techs must meet requirements above and be able to use SDA and/or DSAM and TDR to diagnose and repair line problems. Maint Techs must also have some computer skills.
Other Requirements
Company provides Bucket Truck, Fuel for truck, ladder, meters for In House employees. Employees must provide all of their own hand tools and climbing gear. Some travel may be required. Company provides lodging for employees while traveling and doing jobs out of town. Subcontractors also needed and must provide all of their own tools and truck.
Job Description
Position for Production Coax Splicing with Activation on New Build, Plant Extensions and Retro/Upgrade Projects. This work includes both aerial and underground, street side and rear easement. Applicant will be required to be able to climb or use a ladder. Position for Line Call Maintenance Tech for troubleshooting line problems with SDA/DSAM. Tech is responsible for locating problem and repairing and restoring service to customer. In the event of bad cable Tech must TDR bad cable and provide hard and soft copy to company. This work also includes both aerial and underground, street side and rear easement. Applicant will be required to be able to climb or use a ladder.
