Qualifications
At least 2 years climbing experience with hardware assembly. Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers. Possess a strong work ethic and a positive attitude. Effective problem solving skills and strong task commitment. Must have valid Driver’s License with clean record, CDL desired but not necessary. Able to perform activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving your whole body.
Other Requirements
Selected candidates will perform the duties as directed by the project manager or foreman. He/she will have a solid work history of success. Personally owned reliable transportation & must be willing to travel. Knowledge and practice of safety procedures.
Job Description
-The work being performed will be in the Oklahoma area.
-Position requires the proficient construction of strand, anchors, guys, lashing of fiber optic cables of all sizes and descriptions.
-Dig holes for telephone poles, using power augers or shovels, set poles in place with cranes, and hoist poles upright, using winches or mechanical devices, tree trimming when necessary.
-Must be able to climb poles, use extension ladder, read prints, and operate bucket truck.Complete necessary logs, reports and postings.
-Must be familiar and have working knowledge of fiber optics.
