Job Description
FTS USA is seeking a Directional Bore Operator Crew in the Miami, FL area.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Responsible for completing work orders and retrieving proper signatures for accurate billing
• Ensures all work is done according to quality standards
• Assists with work overflow
• Follows all company policy and procedures
• Adheres to safety policy
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, a crew must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
• DOT health card needed
• CDL preferred but not required
• Must be able to read and understand prints from engineers
• Must be able to read and understand prints from engineers
• Must have experience doing pneumatic missile bores, trenching, potholing, jack hammers, clay spade, and powder puff or J-tamp
• Must be very adept at landscape restoration and reading locates
• Very safety conscious
• Able to read and decipher cable system maps
• Good verbal communication skills
• Valid driver's license
• Negative pre-employment drug test
• Criminal and MVR backgrounds meet company hiring criteria
