Qualifications
Experienced Outside / Inside CATV or Telephone Cable Plant Design Engineers. Outside plant cable routing, poles, manholes, pedestals, lock boxes, building entry points, building and common area risers. Including knowledge of fiber / coax point to point trunk and distribution network architecture, including individual service drop feed design.
Other Requirements
Map InFo or any other design platform / CAD related experience a plus. Good drawing and printing skills.
Job Description
Perform in depth field surveys of buildings (existing, new or proposed) including but not limited to: identifying and recording block numbers, addresses, floors, suites, tenant names. Communication service feeds to and from manholes, poles, vaults, pedestals etc. to building entry and equipment rooms and common building risers. Identify existing CATV telecommunications fiber and RF equipment and all service drop information.
