Pay
Pay range is $22-$26 an hour. Overtime pays time and a half.
Qualifications
Must have Cable TV background and be able to read and understand Cable System Plant Maps.Position will require a working knowledge of Micro soft Excel. Commercial building wiring experience with coax and fiber will be helpful.
Other Requirements
The company will supply a vehicle and a laptop computer for the field. Employees are required to pass a drug screening test and a background check.
Job Description
The job is a coordinator type position working for a prime contractor. You would be working in the office of a major cable company and under the direct supervision of the cable company's supervisors and managers.
The clerical part of the job is working in the office and working spreadsheets to track construction jobs, use google maps and other aerial mapping programs to identify addresses. Making estimates on the cost of wiring commercial customer's premises. Some field work in relation to walking out commercial jobs to determine fiber wiring costs will be required on a limited level.
