Job Description
Leading Telecommunications Company is looking for a experienced Lineman. If you have a valid license, CDL, and experience as a linemen don't delay. MUST PASS COMPLETE BACKGROUND CHECK INCLUDE: DRUG, CRIMINAL, AND DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLE.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Placement of poles, and anchors for installation of aerial cable.
Directs and coordinates activities of workers engaged in using mechanized equipment such as bucket truck, digger derrick, and manual equipment such as shovels and posthole diggers to set poles along right of ways.
Setting up safety perimeter using; signage, cones and safety barriers and at times flagging traffic. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; outside weather conditions; extreme cold; extreme heat and vibration. The employee is regularly exposed to high (25-60 feet), precarious places and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
