Qualifications
• General Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Work Experience: Minimum of one year experience working with and supporting construction projects; including, but not limited to, knowledge of construction walk-outs, materials, build prints, and permitting requirements for local, state and federal agencies.
• Computer Skills: Solid understanding of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook
Other Requirements
• Equipment Operations: Must be able to operate a manual and automatic transmission vehicle; must be proficient with the use of a footage wheel.
• License required: A valid California driver’s license
• Vehicle Required: Company vehicle provided if available and required
• Insurance Requirement: Must be insurable under the Company’s Vehicle Insurance Policy
Job Description
• Develops and organizes proposed construction routes.
• Identifies existing cable structures and new routes to feed new businesses.
• Create accurate estimates and data entry including uploading drawings and pictures.
• Visits the field to wheel out and sketch proposed routes for construction design.
• Identifies logical tie-in points for all Fiber and RF projects.
• Identifies methods of construction based on knowledge of local or regional soil types and municipal preferences.
• Updates and maintains Comcast and Company databases (i.e. Comcast SSEZ, CPT & AC Square database).
• Works closely with Construction Technicians to ensure jobs are completed within required timeframes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned and/or needed.
