Five years of cable construction experience with a thorough understanding of all aspects relative to HFC architectures.

1. Responsible for obtaining dailies and verifying accuracy of the work performed and turning in maps to supervisors.
2. Lead, direct, and motivate a staff of Technicians, who construct and maintain the outside plant for our customers.
3. Ensure that the construction of outside plant construction is completed in accordance with all national safety and construction codes and within specified timelines.
4. Ensure In-house construction personnel adhere to all national safety and construction codes.
5. Responsible to ensure that all traffic control measures are taken to adhere to the necessary safety requirements. Send all reports to Construction Supervisors.
6. Verify with Construction Supervisor that all site construction permits are obtained and valid for all work performed and that all work is completed within permitted time and in accordance with all applicable regulations (i.e., local regulations, governmental regulations, etc.).
7. Adhere to complex engineering plans/diagrams, so as to implement and manage all construction projects.
8. Marking and staying out ahead of the production crews in 48 hours in advance with white marking paint USA (Underground Service Alerts)
9. Perform other related duties as required.
10. Monitor 4 employees or more, typically Construction Crews.
11. Carry out responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s policies and applicable laws.
12. Responsibilities include assisting with the following: interviewing and training employees; planning, assigning, directing work and appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Also provides recommendations for hiring, disciplining and policy decisions to the Construction Manager or Construction Supervisor.
