Qualifications
Minimum of five (5) years of cable construction and /or engineering experience with a thorough understanding of all aspects relative to HFC architectures. Proficient computer knowledge, including Auto Cad, Load Data, ATT Map Applications Spatial FM, Access, Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
Job Description
Main Duties:
• Use Auto Cad, Spatial FM, Load Data and ATT Map Applications to create designs for New Build, plant extensions pertaining to SDU, MDU, Commercial and Forced relocated throughout East Area
• Design SDU/MDU New Build projects in ten (10) days or less and respond to developer’s Letter of Intent. Input designs into Spatial Info and As-Built for documentation
• Design Commercial New Build plant extensions and respond to in house construction requests in three (3) days or less
• Document all designed passings in the Company’s tracking sheets and Blue forms
• Attend joint trench meetings and pre-engineering meetings
• Obtain agency permits when necessary
• Perform other related duties as required
