Depends on qualification and classifications. Ranges from $15.91 to $27.58 per hour. After 6 months: 3 sick days, 2 personal days, health, Disablity. After 1 year of service 5 days vac, 2yrs 10 days, 5yrs 15 days, 401K contribution, Oncall per diem
Qualifications
Qualifications: Able to prep all fiber cable types, midpspan access, perform hot cuts, build various splice enclosures, fusion splice (ribbon and loose tube), mechanical splice, OTDR/PM test, read splice designs and schematics,troubleshoot fiber outages, terminate wall boxes/racks,work nights.
Other Requirements
Current drivers licsense, able to get DOT card, pass random drug test. Industry training or certification would be helpful. Join Local 369 Utlity Worker Union. Must have own transportation to shop in Wilmington MA. We do not issue vehicle to technicians to take home.
Job Description
Perform routine fiber splicing and testing. Respond to fiber outages. Work nights and split shifts. Participate in on call rotation.
